Mystery fiction is a genre where a detective can be a professional or an average person looking for answers, and solves crimes. Some characters have nothing to gain from solving their crimes, where some find treasures of all sorts.

Goal of the Website
This website is designed for middle school, and high school teachers who want to incorporate young adult mystery into their classroom.
This website will include the history of the mystery genre, introduce using the mystery genre with young adults, there will be a short set of lessons plans for a middle school classroom, and a set of lesson plans for a high school classroom. Finally, this website includes an annotated bibliography about different authors and books for young adults and the mystery genre.
